Our Story
My name is Jessica Rodrigues, mother of Miguel and deeply passionate about early childhood education. My journey with caregiving began long before opening Aunt Jessy Daycare — it came from my instinct as a mother, from the desire to offer children a place where they feel safe, loved, and free to explore the world. The dream of transforming my home into a place of learning and affection grew alongside my son and has now become an extension of our own family.
Education and Experience
I am a licensed provider in California and participate in recognized programs such as Children’s Council of San Francisco, Wu Yee Children’s Services, and Early Learning Family Academy (ELFA). I am also continuously studying Early Childhood Education to keep improving and provide the best possible care and learning experience.

To care with love, educate with purpose, and respect each child’s rhythm. We believe that childhood development happens naturally when children feel welcomed and confident. That’s why we provide a calm, stimulating environment full of opportunities to learn through play — encouraging curiosity, independence, and emotional connection.
Our Philosophy
We follow a Play-Based Learning approach, where play is the foundation for learning. Every activity has meaning, every game teaches something, and every achievement is celebrated. More than teaching content, we aim to nurture happy, confident children who know how to express themselves, respect others, and care for the world around them.
